I may have to steal this idea for my own BB guys.... I have been looking for a good pose that explains the awkward lean those running bois have and a huge golden shield makes sense weighing them down on that side :D

My inability to finish painting projects continues, I'm embarrassed to admit I have over 100 models in some partially painted state.

    But here's one that's done!

Might run him as a salamander proxy (base size flexibility permitting).

Hoping to post more as shelter in place continues!

Oh, I thought about doing mine as 3-men sized artillery squads, maybe using parts of ark of sotek.

Ooh good idea, I might steal that...

Also I got excited about the fact that Sylvaneth can be allies now, so here's a conversion to that effect.

Still working on the rest of his squad, will post updates when available!

Like that Skink with giant blowpipe! If you were using Lizardmen with unofficial 40K rules he'd be good as a Flamer specialist

I absolutely love this, it's a great example of making something hideous into something really cool and unique. Are the Saurus Warrior bitz you used from current Saurus Warriors or some of the old 5th Edition Fantasy Saurus from the Bretonnian vs Lizardmen box?

They're bits from the Blood Bowl kit (and lots of green stuff) but for his squad-mates I just used extra Guard heads with regular warrior bodies and tails (though technically they were from 6e with the old plastic, still the same sculpt as today).

I'll show the whole squad once they're done painted up.

So the unit leader still needs some paint and base work but here's the whole squad:

Interesting tree-lizard conversions, I hope they make great allies to your lizardmen forces!

A fun little project I distracted myself with. Always cool when you can make a model from scratch out of spare bits! Some Quicksilver Swords:

Wow awesome job!! I like the thought, I will see of I have spare bits to come up with some of the Endless spells.

What are the Magic 'swirls' made from?

    Grrr, Imrahil

Combination of bits from 3 kits, Terradon bolas, Cypher Lord Headdresses, and Sisters of the Watch bows. But you could probably use the bits from any one of those kits.

I had the latter two kits to make custom minis for my tabletop RPG group. (which I might post eventually, although not super lizard related)

Copy away! I just used plenty of greenstuff in the armpits to get the poses I wanted. The weapon is a stormcast blade with the hilt modified using some spare Saurus banner pieces.

It's officially my 2 year anniversary on the forum! Crazy how quick time flies. Here are my first couple of Temple Guard. The rest of the unit is in progress!

I am also updating some of my previous posts with updated photos now that many of those minis are finally painted. So keep an eye out!

Here are some old Metal Kroxigors from my early WHFB days. I rebased and repainted them:

So the first model I converted 15 years ago had a "blade leg"

    Now he rides in style:

Not my best paint job, but ah well.

I went back and added updated photos of a few of my earlier projects now that they have paint on them, more to come!
