AoS Keeping track of Buffs

What do people use to keep track of which units have which buffs from Command Abilities, spells, and other abilities?

One idea I've had is using different colored dice (I play many role playing games and have tons of dice) and jotting on a piece of paper which color is which buff.

 

I just use half inch tokens

 

I've seen more people do this.

The tokens from the sets GW occasionally releases. The occasional kitbash like a jungle swarm to represent poison.

Oh man, that's really useful for remembering when to use the various Command Traits and other stuff.

 

This works in general for abillities, but this does not cover which unit is buffed by which spell at what turn of the battle.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards now, I think the two combined will really help me keep track of what is going on.

 

The tokens that came with the Seraphon warscroll cards are pretty handy.
