Hi @Clint Moll. The Warlord Core Battalion grants you the option of an extra enhancement. One of the enhancement options is an artefact. You can have as many extra enhancements as you can have Warlord or Command Entourage: Magnificent Core Battalions (realistically only 2 extra). The mount traits are new to Seraphon, and they were released in The White Dwarf magazine from October 2021. If your army has mount traits, an eligible monster is allowed to have one. However, a monster can only have 1 mount trait, unless they get an extra one from an enhancement, and an army cannot have the same mount trait on multiple mounts. Since Seraphon only has 1 mount trait each for Coalesced and Starborne, only the Carnosaur in this list has a mount trait and not the EoTG too.
I’m aware of how artefact allocation works per the appropriate battalion qualifier; but was under the impression mount traits were applied on the same system. A la - my original question was, ‘how could he have two artefacts AND a mount trait” if he is only eligible to have two of the three based on the battalions chosen (one army standard + one for warlord) …..
Gotcha. An army can have both 1 artefact AND 1 mount trait (on an eligible mount), for free. To get more of either requires enhancements.
Ok I think you need a Skink Priest just für buffing +1 Hit on the Bastilladon that shots twice. Also I dont like 2x2 Sallies with bravery 5 you loos sometime more then u want just by Battleshock., becuase in general with this list, you want to spend a lot of CP. My Opion: Drop 2xSalli, Starpriest and EOTG ADD Bastilladon, Skinkpriest and Stegchief
