Hi All, I'm new the game and found this list online and was wondering how I'm supposed to read these. The list doesn't explain how I'm supposed to position the units and who's supposed to be following who. I guess what I'm asking is. If I see a list like this what's my initial setup supposed to look like when I drop thje units? – Army Faction: Seraphon – Army Type: Coalesced – Subfaction: Thunder Lizard – Grand Strategy: Beast Master – Triumph: Inspired LEADERS Lord Kroak (430) – Spells: Stellar Tempest Skink Priest (80) – Prayers: Guidance Engine of the Gods (265)* – General – Command Traits: Prime Warbeast – Artefacts of Power: Arcane Tome – Prayers: Heal Spells – Tide of serpents Skink Priest (80)* – Prayers: Curse Skink Starpriest (130)* – Artefacts of Power: Fusil of Conflagration – Spells: Hand of Glory BATTLELINE 30 x Skinks (225)** – Boltspitter, Celestite Dagger and Star-buckler 1 x Stegadon (265)** 1 x Stegadon (265)** BEHEMOTH 1 x Bastiladon with Solar Engine (250) TERRAIN 1 x Realmshaper Engine (0) CORE BATTALIONS – *Command Entourage – **Hunters of the Heartlands TOTAL POINTS: 1990/2000
well thats a very complicated question and very much depends on what army you are fighting, what terrain is on the board, whether you are playing defensively or offensively , what the battle plan is etc. short answer keep your dinos next to your EotGs and keep your star priest next to the 30 man skink unit. the rest is dependent on the board
Well, what I do know is I'll be going up again Lumineth and I told the list would include Archmage Teclis and some sentinel archers. since the realm shaper needs a priest and wizard inside all times to work would is make sense to need leave an 80 point priest in there? Is it generally a good idea to keep the bastiladon behind to shoot from afar as well? Or is he included in the all dinos next to EotG?
it's included in all monsters. in fact you should have it leading the charge due to it's very high durability. as for the realm shaper a 80 point priest could be used as a MW thrower. be aware that the base becomes his base so it's harder to protect him
