And the 20 knights are 100% done! This was the biggest hurdle on the road to readiness for Adepticon, so I'm glad it's behind me. Next up is 10x Hunters of Huanchi. Just got my starseer in today as well, and I have a Celestant Prime on the way. Gotta do a Scarnosaur as well and the that's all that's left to get done for my list.
 
They look great, all of them together is an awesome shot.
What an achievement.

All of that need to be done before Adepticon :eek:

Yeah, it's gonna be tight lol. I am taking a 3 day weekend coming up to focus on hobbying, and I have off 3 days before I leave for the event to finish any last minute stuff.

It's gonna be a grind
 
The orange looks great! They remind me of the unit of chameleon skink skirmishers from TWW2. I just bought this box set myself, and may have to consider this color scheme...

Thank you! I wanted to do more, I was thinking of adding some green and blue stripes and blending the hands and feet into the base for the Chameleon effect, but I doubt I'll have time for that before Adepticon. Maybe I'll return to them in the future and put more work in, hard to say with how much new stuff we have on the way!
 
Sadly I had to cancel Adepticon which has severely dampened my motivation to paint. My friend group had to back out for various reasons and I didn't want to make the trip alone. I might get to the hobby table tomorrow, we'll see!

Sad turn of events :(

I have personally never been to Adepticon, I really hope to go in the next 5 years if possible. Always wanted to go!

Did some extra work on the hunters, finished all the random stuff on their bases like rocks, trees, critters etc and got started on the actual bases. Should have them 100% done by the end of the week, except for the extra champ, waiting on an additional 28.5 mm bases to finish that one.

While I'm waiting on the 28.5mm base to come from Amazon so I can do all the hunters bases at once, I got started on my starseer today. Here's some WIP pics of the work I did so far. The stone of the palanquin is done and the vines are mostly done, just need to a final highlight and matte varnish to kill the shine of the ink. Gonna try painting the skink as a Rock Agama

Started working on some of the details and the feathers. The new model for this was revealed while I was at my hobby desk working on this guy, kinda funny! I like the new model, but this one holds up OK as well. I'll be happy to have it in plastic but at least I can still use this right away in the new battle tome :D

Almost done! Just need to paint the gems on the staff and in the middle of the back rest and finish the base. I might apply a varnish to the orb as well to give it some shine and make it look like glass
 
Really like your chameleon skinks, what are they like rules wise?

Again the little fella on the throne looks great!
