Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - June 2023

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

This month is simple again. :)
Finish Troglodon
Finish another 15 poxwalkers
Paint Typhus and Biologus
Strip paint from half done stegadon
Start building new saurus warriors
Re-clean and rebase my old DG kill team for new army

It looks like a lot, but if you think about it, then rebasing few minis will take about hour, stripping paint will take about half a hour. First 15 poxwalkers took me 5 hours and this second batch I already started working on.
All and all... Basically list is to finish what is in progress, paint three minis and glue something. :)

A slightly less heavy month for me this time:

I'll probably start these in the latter part of the month, but im just writing it down now so that I won't forget:
  • Finish converting my original Saurus warriors
  • Brainstorm on color schemes for my army
  • Fight the urge to come out of the store with more lizadrs than the free Saurus
  • Maby finally order the magnets of appropriate size for my ideas
  • Assemble some underworlds warbands or make some terrain if I have the time

Strip paint from half done stegadon -couldn't attend modeller's club this week, so it is still rotting there
Start building new saurus warriors - so far clipped from sprue
Re-clean and rebase my old DG kill team for new army
 
Second third of the month progress report :)

Finish Troglodon - just need to paint priest rider
Finish another 15 poxwalkers
Paint Typhus and Biologus
Strip paint from half done stegadon -first pass done, need second bath to get all the paint from crevices
Start building new saurus warriors - so far clipped from sprue
Re-clean and rebase my old DG kill team - done and preshaded

I have 5 warriors basically done and have painted the first layer of the stone work of the throne. I would love to get these done this month but we'll see :D

I think I'm passing on this month, it's not a month for AoS. My head is more into MESBG and then even sitting down to paint has been a challenge in itself. I did make a little process on the throne but that's all.

If I get anything more painted this month i consider that a success :D
