I felt inspired enough to tackle 3 paint scheme options for 2 generations of Saurus.

pick that which you feel is best, and comment if you'd like.

The purple lizard with blue scales work well with the old sculpt, the newer sculpt has a bit more (to much) going on with the green shield.
My vote went to the magenta skin with yellow scales. I love the addition of the blue shield with the newer sculpt. It would look great in bigger units, I think.

Magenta Yellow—?—color clash

(The yellow does not look yellow on my monitor; it looks like a pale orange?)


Given all that ^ team purple was the clear winner.

 

I like the purple and blue! But I am very biased as my lizards are also purple and blue

 

So, what color should I make the shields, If I go with the purple and blue scheme? The green I ended up on was a guess of what would work well.

How are the orange/red clashing?

I guess trying out the purple scheme was a good idea.

 

I think a warm orange might fit better.
