... This is 1: a repeat, and 2: (I cannot stress this part enough) A GROSS UNDERESTIMATION OF THE COST!!! We had to take Wesley: here to the vet late last year because he was REALLY constipated. Between emergency vet bills, follow-ups, medication, lost wages (I had to miss 3 days of work because he went from constipated to really NOT constipated, if you know what I mean, which means 3 days of cleaning the carpeting), and everything else, our bill came to over $4500 USD. This was him on his 17th birthday earlier this year, btw. He's doing a lot better now, but it was touch-and-not-go for two days, and then don't-touch-and-go-a-lot-on-the-living-room-carpet for another three. There is a reason we bought a carpet shampoo machine.
