I need to pair down my fantasy and sci Fi collections. I might put stuff on McDougall designs, but I could also find swap meets. Hmm.

So, let's talk expansion plans for late Romans and ignore all of that.

I currently have Limitanei spearmen, the eastern sword infantry, and clibinarii to paint.

I am finishing the building of more Limitanei spearmen. I then have 40 chainmail armored infantry to build, most likely as comitatenses palatini with feather crests.

Then I have another unit of limitanei to make. I will probably make them swordsmen I have another box of light cavalry archers and clibinarii. I will probably also make a few command bases.
 
I received an additional box of gripping beast late Roman cataphracts from my girlfriend for my birthday. Which will boost the clibinarii unit towards my goal of 60 figures.

I've been building more than painting lately. And have started constructing more Limitanei, as well as the aforementioned cavalry, and a palatini unit.

All at once because I'm using bits from each on the next.

So the last two weeks have been weird.

Thanskgiving week i was out of the country with family on a weeks cruise.

and upon returning home I was immediately struck down with a cold which has put me out this week, to the point where i didn't even want to build a model.

I feel better, but I have alot to catch up on. Lets see what I can get done.

Ugh, that's a pain... if it's any consolation for you I'm also still recovering from a cold :D

Glad to see you're better enough now to hobby... hobbying helps to while away all but the worst of illnesses :).

I've only done a small amount of hobbying since getting over most of the sickness. I just haven't had a lot of motivation. I'm going to try and do some more building tomorrow before I go to fencing practice and I'll try to pick up painting on Thursday. We'll see where I get

Part of a global organization called the SCA. We have anywhere from 3-10 people locally on wednesday nights.
 
I don't know how much painting I'm going to get done in December. I haven't had the mojo to paint.

I have however, been building and prepping. A whole bunch more Limitanei with swords. Probably going to move on to some some more Cataphract/clibinarii Cavalry after they're done.

Mainly just getting things built and prepped. Usually this just happens the last week of the year. I don't know. I might finish out some things on my painting table but I haven't decided yet.
