I don't think this will work for everyone, but I daydream about Scarterra to make my brain happy. I think a major key to happiness is to have a long-term goal with lots and lots of tiny short-term steps that can each feel like a victory. I guess you need a minimum degree of physical and financial fitness to lock down basic survival first, and I am fortunate in that regard. One was a legendary athlete. The other was in Space Jam.
