Participated in the annual Cane Toad Cup. Up to 70 fellow blood bowlers attended from Brisbane and Sydney and Cairns and the Gold Coast. Played Tomb Kings. Day 1. 3 - 0 win vs dwarves 0 - 0 draw vs orcs. ( a really tough, somewhat stressful but extremely enjoyable game) 2 - 1 win vs Lizardmen Day 2 1 - 0 win vs Shambling undead. (a lucky win) With the last game to go I was in 3rd place and a win would give me 2nd overall. A 1 - 3 loss to Slann. (Frogs are impossible to play against if their dice are good. Long legs, dodge, leap and pogo they are so hard to confine. My opponent got 2nd overall and the loss dropped me all the way to 11th overall. Aahhhhh! Every opponent was great. Good sportsmanship. It was a great weekend as usual. Chris who organises it does such a fantastic job. And plenty of swag and prizes and sponsors.
