Salamanders are somewhat less effective against vampire armies due to their immunity to psychology. However, they are still useful.
A darker green/gold mix would be sweet, but so would the red/gold or blue/gold (I have some custom red and blue mixed with gold and they are sweet).
Yeah, the red/blue is quite fetching.
I don't see the PF extra attacks as re-rolls though. A re-roll takes a value and replaces it with a new value. PF is adding additional values...
