ok, but they say that if the book specifies that the slann can cast magic missiles while his unit is in combat, it should also specify that he can...
if you go with life 375 points is enough to make a pretty powerful slann: i usually give him the plaque of tepok, becalming and the bonus dice,...
i agree with Dyvim Tvar about the TG number. Also why do you want to field the saurus warriors in 6 wide ranks? go five, and you will have 8...
the book states that if Slann is in a TG unit and not in the front rank(ie: enough TG to protect him), then he can cast as normal magic missiles...
i use spears only in two situations: when the saurus unit is made by 25+ models or when i play life. Toughness 8 and regrowth make the parry save...
solid list, but i think that if you drop the cold one cavalry and take a couple of salamanders it's better. Also if you don't run a skrox my...

nice match ;)
if a skrox lose some skinks and a kroxigor, can i choose if heal the skinks or the kroxigor with regrowth? and if i heal a kroxigor only by 2...

i'm wondering if salamanders are worth the points in this match... probably there will be many quick units (M9/10), and sallyes could be charged...
you can play without a slann against empire, but vs high elves you need it. I recommend life
sorry but the bsb cannot have magic items (only the slann can do it)
can a slann cast the dwellers if his temple guard unit is in combat?
salamanders for sure
i'm going to have a match with vampire counts vs high elves and chaos warriors. I already played against elves (7° ed, but they are quite similar)...
