You would be best off magnetizing so you can switch out scar-ver and oldblood. Need the oldblood for a bloodclaw starhost.
I agree with @Lachlin though the sallies offer the fire power you want your main fighters as strong as possible.
Both lists work well, but I think the second works a bit better because of the versatility.
