I had a 4 game tournament the other day it was only a 1250 I placed fifth with 2 massacres and 2 losses

My list looked like this

First up was a special objective game against a over shooty empire army his only heroes were 3 engineers with long rifles they didn’t kill a thing he had a steam tank (tied it up on the 2 turn after I charged it with a unit of sauruses) it killed 4 sauruses he also killed 4 skinks that was all.
On his turn 2 he put a unit of pistoleers in front of both my skink units he killed 1 in one unit and 2 in the other in my shooting phase I wiped both units of pistoleers out with blowpipe, nothing all game really happened with the steam tank it kill a few sauruses in the end I got the win because he sat back and I just sat a unit of skinks on each objective.

Second game I versed one of my friends I won’t go into it but I got slaughtered
Third game I versed a warriors of chaos army with one unit of chaos knights with a hero on a juggernaut he also had 2 units of 15 chaos warriors that was it, but I suspect he cheated I am not that great with what other armies can do but can chaos warriors get a 0 plus armour save when using 2 hand weapons and can chaos knights get a -2 plus armour save, he eventually killed me but normally sauruses drop chaos warriors I killed about 10.

Last game I versed a ork army and smashed him unfortunately he had sum really unlucky rolls his war machines never seemed to work, he had a doom diver and 2 spear chucker’s they just kept miss firing or missing my guys I feel sorry for him but
All in all it was a good day if any one can help me with the chaos thing please do

On the chaos thing. Chaos warriors on foot can get a 4+ save when using aditional wepons. I cant remeber them having anything that improves that save with banners or such. Maybe the gifts thinge but I doubt it. Knights have a 1+ save, same as warriors I dont think you can improve that either.
For their charecters a 0+ save is probably the best they can get. I would say that there is a big chance the chaos player is either stupid, a cheater or both.

And the 1%off chane that I'm wrong, making me look stupid is in play since I have just browesed throu the WoC book twice, but what you said is to extreme to be true logically.

Other then the cheetos WoC player and your friend pwning you, sounds like you had fun

Rickey, you were close with the AS that he gets with his heros, the lowest he can get it is -1 save, not pretty. but it is also a waste of points.

good list overall. it is very simmilar to a list that i run.

Also curios what benifit are you after feilding a cohort at 15. Just make em more versitile as a sacrifice unit that can have a shoot at beating weak stuff thou slightly better CR with an extra rank and also minimizing panic thingie throu shooting?

well i kind of had a few points left and i wanted a unit i could use to jump in the road of any shooting as my sauruses moved up, in the end they were great they held a objective because he simple couldnt kill that many in 2 turns and they flanked a ork unit which added to combat res and made him flee, i also put them in to protect the priest stick the priest in the unit and the skinks act as gun and bow fodder
