AoS 1000 pts Seraphon army

Hello folks

I’m new to the Seraphon world and i’m planning to build a 1000 points casual army. I’m not sure if it’ll work well, so i’m posting it here to have some feedback. Thanks in advance

Here comes the army list:

1 Saurus oldblood on carnosaur (280 pts/ general/ behemoth 1/2)

1 skink oracle on troglodon (180 pts/ behemoth 2/2)

1 firelance starhost(110) composed of

- 3 Saurus Knights units (300 pts)
- 1 Scar vet on cold one (100 pts)

It's a decent list because you can build it out of 2 Start Collecting kits, but other than that it isn't that great...

Carnosaurs are generally speaking overpriced for what they are, and knights are pretty poor too. Firelance makes them a bit better, but they're still comparitively weak.

How casual are we talking?

Sounds like that list could work well in a not too competitive environment.
Everybody is decently fast, armies with low bravery will be hit by the stacking debuffs, you can at least unbind, the enemy has several high threat targets so he cannot just focus on one and be done.
You have no magic but in 1k games that's true for many lists. At least you can unbind.

It'll get you started I guess, not sure how much you'll win. It depends a lot on how gamey other people are and what kind of games you're playing. Straight face-to-face fights aren't where Seraphon excel.

In fact, I made this army to make the enemy flee whit the carnosaur’s roar while the firelance charge at them

some questions:

- where are you located?
- do you have more than 15 saurus knights?

I'm asking the last one, because i think the trog won't give you enough, and I would discard it in favor of a unit of more knights (that will serve as main hammer) and pick a starpriest (which afoot is fast as your knights).
Also, if you are using a general on carno, the scarvet on CO is almost useless, I'd suggest to dowgrade the OB on carno to a ScarVet on carno and pick a salamander

Alternatively, discard the trog and the Scarvet for a Stegadon for more charging power

Oops! Yeah true they just get removed when they flee. My bad hihi. I live in Montreal, and I don’ t Have any Seraphon’s yet. I’m planing on buying two start collecting boxes + a bastilodon (cause itsan ankylosaurus dat shoot lazars ya know), so yeah i’ll have 24 saurus warriors. But yeah, I could change some of the models i’m going to build. Thanks for the advice
