1st Ever Skinks

So new to Lizardmen and thought I would get a head start before the new book comes out. I heard fluff wise it was best to stick to blue but just for a little variation I toyed with the crest and scales trying to get a contrasting red to yellow flame look think.

Bought these boys on Monday and have blasted though 10 skinks so far with just a little base work to do. I thought to run the paint scheme by you guys as you may have the KNOWLEDGE when it comes to the scaly blue boys, What do you think.

look great, personally I am not going to stick with the full on fluff for coloring, etc...

but I really like the crest coloring, very nice!

Sweet! Though new to lizardmen, you got a pretty good ide on how to paint it seems
Really like your weapons! and your crests on the skinks is working great with thouse scales!

Those models look amazing. The orange and blue contrast quite well. Also nice looking Deathgaurd.

They look fantastic, very well done! I was considering orange for a colour scheme, but thought it would be too loud. Adding a bit of orange to another colour is a great idea. I can't wait to start painting some lizards.

just layered/blended different colours from red to yellow
