Hey all, Messing with the GH2019 and army building. Trying to find a good army to deal with chaos, particularly slaanesh. Here's my list I'm trying. Thoughts? Slann starmaster- General (260 pts) Artefact - Gryph feather charm Trait- great remembered Spell - Mystical unforgiving Skink starpriest (80 pts) Spell - Stellar Tempest Skink Starpriest (80 pts) Spell - Stellar Tempest (or meteoric convocation) Engine of the God (240 pts) Artefact - Blade of realities to stomp attack Skinks - 40 with boltspitter and shield ( 280 pts) Skinks - 10 with boltspitter and shield (70 pts) Skinks - 10 with boltspitter and shield (70 pts) Razordons - 3 (120 pts) Skink handlers- 3 (40 pts) Bastiladon (280 pts) Bastiladon (280 pts) ThunderQuake starhost (120 pts) Balewind vortex (40) The idea is to basically use starpriest to shoot hordes, bastiladons to shoot high priority targets, and slann to target the artefact carriers. He can change that as needed. I can teleport razordons in the backline and shoot as needed. Thunderquake will make my bastiladons a little more reliable as I'll use it for wound and save rerolls. Thoughts?
The list looks good. Sadly you can't put weapon artifacts that effect attacks on EotGs. The monster counts as a mount. The priest who rides it is the hero and he has no attack characteristic.
