List looks awesome. Make your Knights fly and jump those Skelehordes!

Ghyrstrike might get you more damage than Amberglave vs death. Most of deaths heroes have weaker saves already (except freaking vampires) and the skeletons get no save vs -1 rend built into the Scarvet.

I am jelly of your vacation. Enjoy Warhammer World.

What would you use on the Slann from that realm or would you go rectrices?

I had a brain lapse when reading your list the first time. I thought you were from the realm of life for some reason. Realm of Ulgu would probably be the all around best realm. Miasmic blade on the Slann and Sword of Judgement on the Svc on Carno if you go Ulgu. You could also go Doppleganger cloak on the ScV. Then you are able to attack with your 10 man unit of Knights without suffering a counter attack onto your ScV.

Ghrycharger Feather is super awesome. If you stay with Ghur then perhaps Rockjaws or a similar shooting artifact for the ScV. Because it is an artifact you can ignore both Look Out Sir and having to target units you are in combat with. Kill those Necromancers!

Ulgu it is then, what would you go with for a Death list, grand host of Nagash consiting off

Arkhan, 2 Necros, wight king, skellys, grave guard, black knights

Kill the Wight King and Necro first, unless he make a massive misplay and Arkahn become very killable. The Wight Kings command & necros Danse Macabre is scarier than Curse of Years. You probably also want to go second.

A strong double turn of shooting turn two or three would be ideal. Always focus your fire vs death. If you shoot Skele or graveguard keep shooting them to force battleshock and reduce their staying power. Always make sure you can kill more than they bring back though. If possible try not to full kill any horde until you kill their general.

Death's hordes are slow. Use LoSaT to speed-bump his hordes and harass his heroes.

I think your list has what it needs to beat an Arkhan list. And I think perhaps the Gryphfeather is bit under powered vs death. He won't have much if any shooting. And your Slann shouldn't be in combat.

Enjoy your game, give us a batrep!

Thanks but if you were the Death player what artifacts would you take?, were trying for 2 games one with each army ;)

Edit: I've gone with Miasmatic blade on the Slann and Sword of Judgement on the Scar vet

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. LoL.

For artifacts I think that Hero Protection for your Necromancers is the best option. Miasmic Blade (Ulgu), Gryphfeather Charm (Ghur), and Guardian's Coronet (Hysh) are all pretty solid for the Necros. Scales of Ignax won't help you too much vs Seraphon as you should be able to keep your Necros out of LoS from mortal wounds. I rather like Talisman of the Watcher (Ulgu) for a Wight King when he is kept near Graveguard.

If you are Legion of Sacrament then take Shroud of Darkness and/or Wristbands of Black Gold on your necros.

I would definitely take Overwhelming Dread, Decrepify, and Fading Vigior for spells.
