I. battle Dominate

In centre of battlefield was point ouf our interest,a small wall. A opponent put his units to dense castle with cavaleries on both wings, suported by giant and beast. I did wider formation with SK on left wing.
Bulks of both armies moved to central wall and after chaff fighting Tyrants take a wall. On both wings my units, thanks to shooting and forests, were able to hold his army at bay.
At the middle his infanty line killed my tyrants (they hold a wall still!) and Acients in one charge with brutal to wound and to nerve rolls :-O. And it was all from our first battle.

When I first saw it I thought the wall was a piece of cheese. Got me thinking that edible terrain might be fun

II. Battle Invade

I put all my fast and heavy hitting units on righ wing an on the centre were only corsairs, Firenbrand, one lekelidon and Ancients with banner.
This battle was tactically easy. Corsairs were great in holding of oponent's infantry hordes and then fast wing had a lot od time to break his cavalery and beast for nice outflank. Only a my bad timing battle resulted to draw.

III. Loot
This battle was sad reprise of first one.

Thoughts
- one side deployment with strong wing and skirmishing is far better than wing - center - wing. Because I have always less units than enemy.
- both formations are great, but I feel that both are too expensive for 2000pts army. I thinking army must be build around one formation.
- Corsairs are great for delaying enemies, with support they can hold a mediocre horde, but for chaff they are slow. Maybe if will be all army builded around... with lekelidons, skyraiders and lot of cavalery.
- Firebrand with formation and in ideal situation with Banner is beast - individual,D +5, -/16, or -/17 is great tarpit and good shotter.
- Ancient formation is more valiable and easier to build army around. With banner and mounted lord they are solid base stone for Sallies.
- Lekelidon,as Itep told, is really best chaff in army.

Last week I played with same enemy and same army. Two battles with result 1:1.

Horde of unbloods
Horde of gw
Horde of FE
2 lekelidons
Horde of AoR - heal D2
Horde of skyraiders with jar
Ancient formation with banner on mounted CL
Priest with Myrdin heart - bane chant, surge, weaknnes

Reports soon, but what I can say now - banner is better on one unit of ancients, than on mounted CL. Two R1 are better than one R2:)

10.8. have small (4people) tourney a and I will play this army.

Edible terrain... Interesting. Not sure how I'd make it work, I mean, why would you be eating it, rules-wise? Although I remember seeing a wargame somewhere, years ago, that was designed to be played with jellybeans, Peeps, and other Easter candy. You ate the casualties you took...

Thanks for the batreps. They look like fun.
