40K - Should I .... or not? Where to start?

:eek: No change it back! The list was fine before!
 
Got sent the wrong stuff in my last online order, so have a box of Tau models I don't know what to do with. Not really sure I want to go the Tau route... Too many edge highlights...

How did that happen? Did you order straight from GW?

Nah, 3rd party. It was the remaining part of my moonclan order, should have been a simple box of squig herders. Turned up with XV25 Stealth Suits, and some flying thing. As well as an admech codex??

Maybe they had got some other people’s orders mixed up with yours.

In any case, it’s a boon for you as you can just sell those other models off and make a tidy profit. Perhaps it’s a free gift from the company?

Honestly, you can just use Tau. That extra apostrophe was only added in 8th edition, and it's seemingly meaningless addition infuriates me to no end.
 
All i can say, is that the new Deathwatch kicks some serious ass.
It's not a beginner-friendly army, but it's kinda a high tech swiss knife of death
 
Hey y'all, short question:
Can the Tau Crisis Battle Suits be played in kill team?
I wonder if I should get the Start Collecting box but I probably don't want to build a huge army so Kill Team might be interesting.

No, unless they have been introduced with the new "commander"
Afaik only stealth suit

Do I need that big box or only the book (and some 40k models of course) to play it?
