So after playing underworlds I thought why not to try something more deep and complex? Played as seraphon in tww2 and had a lot of fun moments there! And now i'm here thanks to a GW announcement trailer for a new start collecting and battletome. Want to start with them. Really looking forward to painting all the skink bois
Want to add my dissapointment in fact that there is still no lizardmen miniatures in WH Underworlds. This season was hunt-themed. Think that it was the perfect opportunity to present one...
Welcome to the Forums!!! My personal advice would be to grab hold of a WFB book and do that... (sigh) but sadly AOS rules currently. My own thoughts aside, check out all of the threads on AOS for the best advice on army builds, etc. There is a lot of good material there and lots of helpful people for any questions you might have. The site if fantastic on fielding questions, no matter how stupid you might feel in asking! (Keep a look out for The Old World!!! We have a slim hope that this will be a revamp of WFB) Enjoy!
Welcome to Lustria! With the new Battletome for AoS we now have a current army in a maintained wargaming system, and all the models are still viable. I think you can have a lot of fun with our Seraphon.
The thing is that I don't have anyone to play FB with. My local wargame club is only 40k and AOS, but in future if this Old World project takes off here localy then why not
I hear you brother. The heathens are now running the joint. @NIGHTBRINGER I'm sure sympathizes with me. I have two people that are available to play WFB with. The only reason I don't go totally insane is that I don't actually get to play that often This forum helps me through those periods. But yes, I have a small slim sliver of hope for The Old World and am constantly on the lookout for news on it. Anyways, stay in touch. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks! Nah, I read bunch of books and played lots of games. But if choosing between 40k and AOS i'd pick AOS for sure. Liked fantasy over sci-fi my whole life!
Whatever form the current game takes, we will support it on our forums here. We welcome Lizardmen, Seraphon, Saurian Ancients, and Salamanders here. In addition to talking about thinks that aren't even scaly such as silly memes, 40K, silly memes about 40K, pop culture, and cute animal stuff. Let us know if you have any specific questions about gameplay, fluff, painting, or anything else!
