8th Ed. a couple RROR questions

These may be obvious answers so sorry in advance.

First can a Slann channel the RROR spell through a skink priest

second if I cast throne of vines, and I cast RROR with irresistable force can I still ignore the miscast that would destroy it?

Hmm bound items and the ways they interact with such "special rules" is a complex matter.
I would say yes to both but it could be argued the other way, i remember a discussion on another forum about focused rumination and bound items that never got anywhere.
