I've acquired the first of my lizards, and I love the troglodon model especially, but am unsure of my painting skills. Below is what my first attempt has yielded, white base, blue wash, black wash, red+blue stripe outlines + sails, red inner stripes, black then gold for metal bits, black wash again, some white on face and spines. Basically what I'm asking is for any impressions and advice based on my pictures and methon described above.

After I've painted this I'll move on to my saurus et all. Planning on blue and white theme for skin and scales respectively, still unsure on weapon materials, I have gold but would maybe prefer wood with metal spikes or obsidion maybe...

... hard to say, can't really see much, try taking a picture outside,
in either indirect light. or in the sunshine. (on the model no behind it.) ;)

I think that white circular [dinner plate?] object really jacked with your camera's light meter and exposure. The Trog looks mostly dark green?:banghead: Would like to see more.. :snaphappy: ..re-shoot encouraged.

Agreed... it has created an almost misty-like effect and drowned out most of the colour.

Sorry about the image quality, my camera Isn't Stellar, its a blue and red theme right now. 20150814_233428.jpg 20150814_233428.jpg

The new pictures are much better. It looks really good, the red stripes give it so much character, great job!
