Rolling pin and Fimo air basic. :)

Edit: Ok I am almost sure you are making some kind of joke or something. But I am German, we don't get jokes. Did I write something funny?

Fimo air is an air drying polymeric clay...
A rolling pin is a kind of round mold which is rolled over a flat surface of (air drying polymeric) clay to create a relief or pattern... works like ancient seals which were rolled over hot wax to sign papyrus letters...

I got mine from Greenstuffworld.com, a webshop based in spain. They are the only source for those I know of.

    http://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/51-textured-rolling-pins

I have the "Aztec" and "Bricks" pins, my friend has the "Runic" and "Dark Runes" ones. Really cool!

The good thing about air-drying clays like "Fimo air basic" (be sure not to get regular fimo, that one is for the oven) is that they are not as bad for your health as Brownstuff/Greenstuff.
There is also a newish brand called "DAS" which seems to be even better I heard. Fimo is pretty hard (and thus brittle) when dried, I heard DAS stays a bit softer. The MSDS looks promising, as long as you don't eat it you're most likely fine.

MSDSs in case you are interested:
    DAS https://www.c2f.com/msds/DIX-DASAirHardeningClay.pdf
    FIMO http://www.dick-blick.com/msds/DBH_SDS_33284XXXX.pdf

EDIT: And we also tried it with GreenStuff and BrownStuff. It works fine on those, too. So if you prefer the epoxy stuff, no problem. The air-drying clays are cheaper though.

After use you have to clean it with water and a toothbrush so the texture stays like it is.

WIP, missing shades and glaze and stuff.
Not quite happy with them but not very unhappy either.
I messed up the skin shading a bit but I think I am going to keep it. If you don't look too close it looks decent.
Leaving the Oh No phase slowly.

I also made progress with the Blue ones and the Scuttlings but forgot taking pictures.

What kinda bothers me are the bases, for some reason the sand doesn't stick as well as usually, I am losing quite some grains. I hope it will still look good, so I'll ignore that and see how it looks painted.

The pink horror looks really amazing! But in my opinion you have to shade and highlight the teeth. They are a central aspect of this modell.;););)

I did shade them today. Not sure how to highlight them though, I have to think about it.

Oh, and welcome to the forums, @Mesandres !

    Status today:
Eyes glazed yellow, teeth shaded, also first pass on the claws and first layer of green on the feathers.
On the Blue Horrors I also did claws and the first layer on the teeth (pure white to cover the blue a bit. Bright colors like the bone color which I am using for the teeth really need that. ).
I also made the basecoat for the flames on the pink and blue Horrors, which is a bright yellow. In a later step I will add red and orange there, either by drybrushing or wet blending.
The metal parts will receive a bit of gold and also some gems perhaps.

Brimstone Horrors just have the basecoat right now.

Edit: or are you referring to the paint job? Not highlighted or shaded properly yet.

I know how much you love your washes so if you'd like I could post my washes only recipe for flame effects. It's pretty quick to do and I think it looks pretty decent for the amount of work put in IMG_20170503_211650211.jpg

That looks pretty nice indeed, thank you very much! I think I already know how to achieve that with my washes. I will try it on some spare part.

Meanwhile I added some details, glazes, shades, and highlights.

With the camera that close and with that good resolution it is really hard, you can see every tiny error. I have good eyes but from more than 40cm away even I cannot see most of them.
Really astonishing to see that there are people whose models look great even that close.
