Alternate Cold ones???

Hi there...

I never was a big fan of the two legged cold one mounts... the last version (dark elf and lizardmen) was way too fat... sort of like a walking pear on match stick legs... the current lizardmen version looks like some kind of cartoon creature... the dark elf ones dont match the lizard men line I think.... too slender...

I have seen some conversion on the net... some I liked quite a lot... but not quite there yet... then I found this conversion here..

I reckon its well done and really unique... but I dont like metall miniatures... too much work to convert.. plastic is my medium... I was looking for an equivalent....

I finally found one... the D&D Rage Drake...

The head was a terrible miscast so I had to chop it off... Right now I am looking for a nice head.. the old battle cow heads are too small... I might try to sculpt my own but how should it look like? Is the Rage Drake too big as a model? It stand about the same size as a horse... What to do next... I am really looking for suggestions. Any links to appropriate head designs are truely appreciated..

Hmm you could try kroxigor heads? Otherwise, if you have the skill to sculpt, it might be easier to just make your own.

Yea I converted a few Rage Drakes onto Salamanders by implanting a Sail on thie backs so they would look like the old Dimetrodon Salamanders.


Oh, yea some of the newer Kroxogor heads would work, either that or the older 5th edition ones.
