Still not a huge fan of the blue parts but otherwise they look pretty good.

I used blue to simulate tinted glass
Yeah I know, it is just... I don't know. Too solid maybe? Too strong? I would probably have tried painting the glasses white or light grey and then use a thinned down blue glaze to achieve that effect.

Yep, those are a lot better. :)
Probably going to do a light blue wash on them to bring them out a bit.

Also:

Going to finish the squad this week, although I'm currently blasting through a dungeon terrain commission.

After this, I have another squad of each feudal and steel legion, a couple squads of Mantic gcps.

I also have some conversions in mind for landsknect

With the lenses apply a thin short white diagonal line to represent relection, go top to bottom but don't go the full length.
Will do when I get home

@Aginor now that you mention it, I do have 'ardcoat. I was going to Varnish these guys with my matte varnish though. You think putting ardcoat over the mat varnish would screw anything up?

As long as the first coat is dry it won't do anything apart from changing the gloss level.

You can also use interrupted diagonal lines or parallel lines. I recommend trying a few different passes on scratch paper if you are really particular.

Awesome. Will do. Any specific tips when using Ard coat?
Also, next planned guard variation: landsknechts with bionics and las-arbeques
