I'd take the full package, meaning

- snack dice: 1
- D3 dice: 7
- lizard dice: 40

? :)

I can't wait :D

Bob has recounted on his fingers (sometimes 4, sometimes 5....) See previous page. Max D6 to roll would be 51 at a time (barring some pretty radical formations). Then add 8 more PF rolls.

I would so like a spell that gives Killing Blow to Saurus right now. Even a way of giving them all poisonous attacks. Wait a minute......

Just want to state again, I am definitely interested in ordering dice. I (accidentally) missed out on the last D6 set so I'm not gonna miss out on these. Hopefully at least one red color will be an option to go with my army theme :)

They're looking great, so far. Thanks Bob for doing the math and designs. Very excited!!

rather than having 51 could we round it to 50 its easyer to check at the end to see you still have all of your dice and the chances of getting to roll all 50 is slim

Couple questions:

1. Is this poll only for artillery dice color or also for D6 and D3?

2. If this is a poll for all three die types will we be able to have different colored dice for each die type or will it be all one color?

3. When will we be able to order?

4. Once ordering has started will a new thread be created or will this existing one just be updated to reflect that ordering has started?

Btw, awesome designs Bob and great work to Bob and everyone else thus far! Definitely not missing out on ordering some dice like I did last time :rolleyes:

Order 64 in total. Maybe 2x artillery dice (= red for Sally and PURPLE for 'don), 6x Scatter/D3 and 56x Lizzie D6s (= 28 ea of 2 colours.)

Makes a nice 4x4x4 cube.

And then tighten your belt a few more notches.

How would you distribute 3 designs and 3 contrasting colours into a 64 dice cube? The best answer could be our standard Horde Set.

A 3x3x3 cube of 27 would do me. 1x artillery, 1xD3 and 25xD6 would cover 6 wide Saurus Spear blocks or Skrox 8 wide. Needs 2 colours to roll all the Skrox together. Hello Cohort Set.

yea 3x3x3 cube would be good enough. woot these are awesome.

This would be for the Artillery and D3. BUT after some opinions from others I have come to the conclusion that you can order whatever colors you want. There is no need to limit the options.

2. If this is a poll for all three die types will we be able to have different colored dice for each die type or will it be all one color?

You can pick whatever colors you want. Just remember that the D6 will have different color options for the most part. There is some overlap like with the Gemini range

3. When will we be able to order?

Once I receive the final samples and prices. Hopefully next week.

4. Once ordering has started will a new thread be created or will this existing one just be updated to reflect that ordering has started?

New Thread :smug:

Well, remember that the Artillery and D3 are planned on being larger than the D6. Not sure they would make a perfect cube.

D6 = 16mm dice
D3 = 20mm dice
Artillery = 20mm dice

Is that something people are going to have a problem with? I was trying to keep with the typical dice theme where special dice are larger than regular ones. Does everyone want all these dice to be the same size?

Should we do another poll for that? I need to know soon if everyone wants the dice to be the same size.

I like artillery dice and D3 being bigger, it makes them easy to find.

Same here. Make the special dice a bit bigger. Makes them easier to find when in the bag and easier to read when rolled.

Good to hear. I agree also.

FYI, if we do dice in different sizes, it may mean we're effectively doing 2 batches, which would mean potentially a worse discount. I don't know, but it's worth asking. Last time we did custom dice, we got to choose 4 colours, and everyone picked from them.

Pricing:

10-25 dice: $1.00 per side
26-99 dice: $0.75 per side
100-199 dice: $0.60 per side
200-499 dice: $0.50 per side

The discount is indeed a point. And don't forget the shipping costs...

Thanks a lot for answering my questions Qupakoco! I will now proceed to make my three picks.

D3 = 20mm dice
Artillery = 20mm dice

Me personally I'm fine with whatever. So, if majority want same size, put me down for same size. If majority wants larger dice for artillery then put me down for that.

Different sizes? Bob's sense of artistic symmetry is offended

So what about.....

Horde Cube (almost) 64x64x68mm = 2xSnack, 4xD3/Scatter, 54xD6

Cohort Cube (Rectangular Prism) 48x48x68mm = 2xSnack, 2xD3/Scatter, 27xD6

Magic Phase Cube 48x48x52mm 1xSnack (Purple Sun uses Artillery Dice), 3xD3/Scatter, 18xD6

Once I get my hands on some, I will make some printable designs to fold into cube shapes as dice organisers. Maybe you could print onto sticky label paper or Photo paper. You can add your own images or go with Bob authorized ones.

Now.... just to frustrate you all (but mostly Qupakoco) I wouldn't mind mocking up some wound marker cubes.

I'll try to get pencil to paper tonight to get some of the new multi wound models iconified. Best if Qupakoco opens a new thread to get some early idea if the wound markers will be a go.

Wound marker dice? To go even further, why not have 1, 2, 3 and 4 indicators for wounds, and on sides 5 and 6 you have a +1 or -1 to stand in for spell effect dice!

PlasmaDavid,

I couldn't work out what to do with the 1 side.

If I wasn't Cold Blooded I would kiss you. Alas, no lips.

Here is tonight's effort. I'll start a new post to discuss design and rationale.

For the record, I have been asking Son and Daughter of Bob for ideas of how to friend you for some time now. They have come up with nothing. Give me one tiny piece of other information about yourself.

(Edit - liked my second effort better)

PlasmaDavid... Well plasma is ionized gas. Could be a super-heated skink? Plasma is also... IN YOUR BLOOD!!!

Remember we're also doing different designs, so that might separate the batches as well.

Still waiting for the final samples from Chessex. After I get those I'll find out specifics on pricing.
