I know some costings have been posted, but can we get a breakdown of a per-dice cost?

Also I'm sorry I didn't see your post in time Bob, but you did a great job on my picture anyway :D

That "O" on your latest dice there might be improved by a thin reptile eyelid/socket surrounding it? I also think the 1 could use a dot, just to keep the number theme going!

Personally I find it a bit hard/weird/confusing when the 1 or 6 on a dice is a special symbol very different to the other numbers, compared to the rest of the numbers. Can also be a bit confusing for your opponent, especially when it's a high-gambling roll! It's always good to have dice results that you can INSTANTLY identify the number for so you can cheer or groan. But maybe that's just me.

I prefer the cut outs versus dots, and there are still 6 of them. If you get a "wait a minute..." response from your warm blooded opponent they can still count to 6. Unless they are O'n'G players.

I'll run a reduced size snake-eye past the head honcho.

Ha ha, the first one looks like Lord Kroak is wearing curlers! Since he doesn't have naturally curly hair he needs to do something to make himself presentable for a nice war.

Just a quick update for everyone on this; things are happening very slowly. It's wearing on my patience as well, but we'll get there. All designs have been submitted along with any relevant edits that are required. Chessex should be making samples for us this week.

Apologies for getting everyone all hyped up. I'll try to keep my peeper shut about this until we're ready to order.

But this ungodly amount of patience we need to muster, will truly test us if we are warm- or coldblooded :D

Absolutely. I'll likely keep ordering open for at least a full week as well. Perhaps 2 if there are some stragglers.

I have a couple more sample photos I could share, but I feel it's a bit mean to tease everyone at this point. I'll make sure everything is posted clearly along with ordering instructions in the final thread.

Are you okay if we direct other people, or forums, here? I'm sure there's plenty of Lizardmen players who would like themed dice. But it might mean an influx on the forums and more work!

I hope you keep the order thread open for at least two weeks, I'm going to Rome on Hols tomorrow and won't be around for a while, I don't want to find it all done and dusted when I get back ;)
 
We can do 2 weeks if it's preferred. Not like we're in a rush to get these or anything, right? :rolleyes:
