7th Ed. Automatic success on 6 for saves

In old GW games, 6 was always a success and 1 always a fail. Is this still so for saves under Warhammer? I don't think it is but it isn't spelled out clearly in the BRB. Since this is a dispute I have with a friend of mine, it would be great if someone could clear this up.

You're half right, a 1 is still always a fail. However, armour saves can be completely negated with a high enough strength
