Also, get a stegadon with flamethrowers & some kroxigor for hitting well all of em really... Apart from that, the 900 is a bit silly.. maybe if his entire army somehow manages to get in reach. But with those numbers chances are 80% of his army won't actually be in range to actually stab you. That or he's using way more of those nets than he probably should be allowed to.
Probably not. But since a Kunnin' Rukk cannot be effectively played at such low point values that is a problem you can face at a later point. With our new abilities we have become much better against it though. It isn't as severe as it was in the past anymore.
I would probably go for the Sword or the Spear. It depends on whether you mainly expect armored opponents (4+ save and better like Stormcast or Ironjawz) or horde units that you will likely hit anyway. The sword will get more attacks through, (on average that should be 2.5 wounds your opponent has to save) Spear creates 2 wounds on average, but those will give units with a 6+ save (such as Skeletons) no save at all and has a better chance to get those wounds through to the more heavily armored ones which sure is nice. It also has 2" range. The Greatblade is meh. Great if it hits but since it only has half the attacks it is kind of an "all or nothing" weapon. IMO a weapon with a high number of attacks is better since it synergizes better with his command ability (if he is your general he can buff himself or another unit to get additional attacks when rollign a 6+ on hit). I would probably recommend magnetizing his arm so you can switch between the two weapons. Magnetizing is really easy to do. EDIT: Also if you give him the Blade artefact he can have rend -2 on that Spear, so that might hurt a lot.
Well I know my first game will be this Saturday against the Moonclan Grots, so I guess a ton of goblins. I read their datasheets. The Colossal Squigs scare me, Fanatics literally don't have a save so I guess I'll use my Knights on them, and the normal Grots are annoying but kind of like skinks. Although I think they have a banner which gives more bravery so that sort of counters my Carnosaur roars and so forth. Unless the picks the -1 to hit during shooting phase one, which would be fantastic because I have 0 shooting atm.
So without the Skink Chief, what is your current build now? Also, how does everyone like Warhammer Total War 2?
Haven't played TW2 yet but it seems it is a nice game. The last few weeks I have playing Deathrattle so not much Seraphon experience yet with GHB2017. I'd say the Slann is my new favourite general though.
I ended up losing my first game, but it was pretty close. It was actually just Savage Orks. I don't know if they had a special formation or anything. It was just a melee slogfest between my army and theirs, however some of knights were worthless as they were too slow to get into combat and just got charged and wiped out by a 40 man blob (5 vs 40 heh who you think gonna win?) It ended with him having maybe 20 guys and a few shamans/spellcasters left and I just had 1 skink Starpriest. Overall it was a good game because it felt fair, instead of me just losing because I have basic units and they're using fully powered armies with full battalion bonuses and gimmicks. I had a lot of fun and hope to understand how to use my troops better next game.
