While i am bored waiting for the metal parts of the new table i build a matching dice tray to the objectivemarkers and the game tracking board.
Love the table, dice tray and markers. Makes me want find some for myself, but I am a dyed-in-the-wool superstitious person (my dice rolls are ALWAYS better when done on the floor)
Thank you! The Board is finished and the ordered gaming mats arrived. I am not absolutely happy with them beeing a little glossy. :-/ We will play on them tomorrow and i will take some pictures. Today i worked a little on a scenery piece i am going to build and started painting the DE Cold ones at last.
I am enjoying your terrain posting still, but I have to say I really appreciate that you took the time to build some dice trays, objective markers, and a game tracking board. I haven't made dice trays yet but I have the other too, they were a fun addition to games!
I am going to slowly expand my ogors to 2000 Points. While the Necrons and the indomitus box are using my hobby budget i have to work with what i have. Old Mordheim dogs as frostsabres. The other 4 will be fenrisian wolves.
Would you be so kind to give some hints how did you make them? Especially what materials did you use?
Sure. I stole this from my wife. Don't Teller her. Cutted and crackled it in the different heigths and shapes. After that: 1) woodglue + water + bird sand 2) spray black 3) Paint incubi darkness (optional) 4) drybrush fenrisian grey 5) drybrush any white / light grey 6) spray clear protective paint (i don't know the correct word. ) The dice tray is made of thin layers wrapped around a picture frame.
Will definitely need more pictures of these guys when they are done; they look like ruined constructs almost judging by the pics!
The first Indomitus Necrons are finished. I will get another half in a few weeks. After the Codex drops i will decide what to build out of it exactly. So i chose to start with a block of 40 Saurus warriors for an upcoming escalation league in which i will go full Saurus. Here is one of the test Modells before i start the batch painting.
Really fast and table ready. The base is drying. After the paint is crackled i will add some tufts / spare bits / sce or skaven parts.
Hi @Bartuk. Really nice saurus! I might have already asked you what colors you use for the saurus/skinks, but would you mind sharing your colors? What did you use for the spear heads? Thank you.
