I have recently been posting updates on painting my army and have now been thinking to do the bases.
However, I am unsure on what to do. I'm not really trying to make a certain effect I just want something that matches and suits with what my army looks like.

This is them

Ignore the base on the skink at the moment

and a kroxigor which a base is currently being tested on

So please help me and give advice
and my theme for my lizardmen is a rocky desert theme. As you can see.

Thanks a lot!

Yeah that would be good, But what paints do you think could make this effect?

Glue some sand and fine gravel to your base, I prefer you use elmers glue all for this.
Then prime the whole model, grey primer seems good your paint scheme and basing.
then dry brush the sand bone white, then paint the rocks snake bite brown,
then dry brush the stones bone white, lastly give the whole base a light dry brush of skill white.

Going from memory this should give you a similar effect to the picture.

maybe on some of the bases you could add some small patches of dead grass with brown flock and static grass.
