I'm abit late to the party but if anyones still watching this thread does anyone know if I have a Slann and Kroak can I cast 2 mystic shield spells on Mr Basti?
Even he is getting torn apart by Dragon Slayers, the Slayer King and the occasional White Dwarf!
By the way has anyone played with/ against Grombrindal the White Dwarf and found him dissapointingly underpowered?
Kroak fried him in two turns!
Thanks if your watching still and if not, well...
..does this count as talking to myself if i'm typing?
    :)

In "open" play yes. in matched games (using the rules of the General's handbook) you cannot cast the same spell more than once.

I don't know, but I hope not, since I've buyed him and I'm planning to field him, the next time I'll play dwarfs :D

Grombrindal is a stubborn little thing! I think the reason I took him down so quickly is because my brothers decided to reveal him in combat with Kroak and his bodyguard.

When backed up with more stubborn tin cans (or Dwarves in common language) I can imagine him being a challenge!
Please tell me how you find him as my brother is my main competitor and doesnt always think of the best tactics...

.. and thats the kindest way I can say that. He usually advances all his troops to my leader via the quickest route.

Behemoths are not counted as monsters in AoS well not that we can find so technically he would get +1 cover, though we have house ruled it in my gaming group that Behemoths are classed as monsters.. Also the FAQ says its valid if you have a modifier that takes the result to a 1 eg hit, wound, save rolls are all ok

I wouldn'tagree with this. There are many units that are listed as behemots, but are not monsters and shouldn’t be considered monsters.
Tomb Kings' Casket of Souls, for example.
