For those of you who have read my against Empire,( http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/2400-pts-vs-empire.12640/ ) you will remember that I used a Stegadon with a flashlight on top as a proxy for a Bastiladon.

Having had much fun pointing this flashlight at units before I use the bound spell (it's also real handy for finding my car keys in the dark), I knew I needed to have this on my official Bastiladon model as well.

So here's the result so far:

The light is so bright, I can use it to blind my opponent if I'm loosing.

This is the button. The batteries (3 AAA's) are in the body.

You, sir, are an instant legend.

Working out true line of sight has never been easier.

What is the glowy reflector bit made of? Does it get hot ?

That's great! I love seeing the mix of fun and hobby. You did a great job of making it fit the model and look lizardy.

total win mate. Can see a LoS ruling coming down to you having to turn off the lights to see if the "lazor" can "see/hit" your target.
Awesome

Really cool, what sort of light is it? seems bright for a led and small for a incandescent.

This is awesome. One question though... What happens when the batteries die?

That is very unique and very well done. Thanks for sharing that.

Hi guys.

Thanks for all the feedback, I'm sorry it took so long to answer your questions but here goes:

It's made from a high-intensity LED flashlight with some putty on. It doesn't get warm at all.

It is in fact a LED light, but it is indeed very intense. The flashlight was called a LED Lenser.

Awesome! Now you just need to build a cigarette lighter into a salamander
A cigarette lighter you say... :P

I have magnetised the shell so I can take it off.

In other news... I have acually finished building and painting this! Watch this space for pictures :)

Pretty cool, looking forward to see the pics

Is there a way to attach a magnifying glass to focus the light enough to melt opposing enemies? If so I have a pesky Nurgle DP I would love for you to point at...

Awesome. Now maybe a play-do filled bastilladon with a crank that pushes out snakes?

Got kids have you, Mossy?

You can put it beside that beast of Nurgle that dribbles snot onto your couch.

I would be realy kool if you could find some sort of facieted bit of plastic to use as a crystal lens .
