okay i will quote book before question
Thunderous Bludgeon : Before rolling to Hit, nominate one of the Bastilodon's Attacks as the Thunderous Bludgeon (a different coloured dice works best). This Attack is resolved at Strength 10 and receives a +1 To Hit bonus against models inthe creature's rear arc.

Ok , so if i understand it well. Bastilodon always have one attack at S10 ( even in front ) but only recives +1 to hit if someone is in the rear. Am i right?
:pigeon:

That's correct! And enemies can't get flank or rear bonuses, you can turn his rear to your enemies and have that +1 to hit on your str 10 hit :D

That's how I read it as well, so combat-reforming to present your rear to whatever your in combat with loses you nothing and gains you that +1 to hit!

My solar-cannon Bastiladon will now be thought of as a lunar-cannon. What with his tendency to "moon" his enemies and all....

With monsters is it possible to move them and then turn around?
Or do the bastiladon have to use its whole movement to so that?

- but we ARE allowed to reform it combat and turn around aren't we??? hehehe

It's either single models or monsters get free pivots so spin that thing around as much as you want during a move.

single model units (like monsters) can pivot as much as they want. so it's possible to move forward and then turn your back. remember though, that you can't shoot the beam of chotec at the enemy if you moon at them

Is a monster allowed to march then jump 180 degrees on the spot?

I'm just trying to find it so I can show my friend who's new and questions me when I move monsters
I remember 7th ed was more thorough with how monsters could move

Yep, you can pivot as many times as you want during your move, including at the end of your march.

Dead you made me laugh out loud and now my fiance is giving me strange looks.

Good job!

But yes 1 Strength 10 attack. Insanity!
