Yeah so still no painting progress from me lately. Two little kids and cold weather have kind of slowed things to a standstill!

I do however have this samurai model from the game Bushido. That i intend to paint similar to the bottom pic which is definitely not mine! :D

Haha no i didn't honestly! It was definitely why I ended up getting that model though, awesome paint job.

Orange and blue sounds good... maybe something brighter for the belly and throat? Yellow or even something whitish?

And why again did you buy the hoplites?!;):cool:

Sounds like a plan, I've bought and assembled 50 because why not, I'm toying with light grey then dark grey feet, hands and muzzle (like on the old skink box) orange crest because that's me and then tiger like shields.

Orange will look so cool, do a test model I wanna see it.

The box set was free with the rule book for £30 and you get 42 of them, and that's the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything!

Also as far as antiquity goes Greeks are my favourite! :P

I'll try and get to it soon, busy few weeks at work coming up but i might be able to sneak one in before then. I want them to be fairly simple compared to the saurus but with a nice bright contrast.
 
I was planning on keeping the scales orange but not 100% on that, I don't know what sort of shield colour would work , maybe green?

I've just based mine in green and I was planning on doing the shields as tiger skin but I think it will be too busy so I'm the same, might go dark green scales and shield but with the shield do it like marble.
