Inspired by neveroddoreven's skanks! Obviously not the painter (or photographer) that he is but by my standards they came out pretty well. I think I will try his free hand scale techniques on the kroxigors. I have over 100 skinks to do so i tried to keep the steps down, i will prob go back and do some more highlighting when i finish. Also need to finish basing them. Enjoy!
 
The army of Tlaxtlan has a new spawning, no Slann predicted this! That's made my day, good job!
 
Any advice for how to improve them? I'm sure its a bit hard to tell with the pictures. I couldn't decide how to finish the scales. Right now the last coat is a Septa ink on top of the fortress grey (i don't know the names of the new paints yet!) . Would it be better to have a layer on top, or would that make them to 2D?
