7th Ed. Best moment with lizardmen

yea ... these are some of the big scary stuff and special characters I've killed with a unit of 10 skinks armed to the teeth (Ahhh literally) with blowpipes and poisoned darts:

-Chaos Bloodthirster
-Archons horse
-Tyrions Horse
-Teclis (same game as Tyrions Horse)
- about 40 Giants (not really but man Skinks kill these things)
- Bel'akor
- A goblin archer (now there was only one Skink and one Goblin)

In summary I would have to say my best moment with liazardmen would have to simply be ...... Skinks.

 

My best moment is when i was playing wood elves. my opponent had 2 units of glade riders, and i took them all down with a couple of javelins and blowpipes in 1 turn

 

My best moment I think, must be when my Scar-Vet held Morathi from round 1 to 4 in close combat, making 2 wounds on her and keeping her from casting ugly spells, leaving my slaan supreme in the magic phase

 

This isn't really my best moment with lizardmen but yesterday i was in a 1000pt battle with HE. 2 great eagles charged a unit of 10 scouting skinks. The skinks won, eagles fled, I persuid and killed them. My friend the high elf player was very annoyed. Unfortuantly I didn't win that match it was a draw but its the best I've ever done against them.

 

My Slann once killed a Varghulf in Single Combat. Did make me laugh

this happened recently

i was fighting empire and my opponent had an arch lector on a war alter

i had a lone kroxigor with 2 wounds already moving into position to charge the alter but gets charged instead

let's just say he had an attack wound my guy and i needed a 6 to save, which i got and promptly counterattacked and blew up the alter

 

best moment would be against skaven i had a unit of saurus stuck in against clan rats and they proceeded to do break even in combat for 2 turns which allowed me to get charged in the rear next phase skaven had no wounds and my front rank did something like 6 or 7 wounds and the back did like 5 or 6 both units break one flees off the table and i run the other one down

 

Depends.

Used Lore Of Fire with Slann then got the Flaming Sword Of Rhun. Then Dark Elf Dragon comes along. I passed all my saves then 3 turns later after still living killed him. Really funny.

 

I'd have to say when my Stegadon a while ago terror broke an entire army, sending 1500 points of High Elves fleeing off the table. Whoo!

 

Two of them.

First, just because it was funny, i still lost. A comet of cassandora, cast on first turn, turned up on turn six, 30 inch radius! only one unit didn't get hit, took what would have been a massacre down to a minor loss.

Second, 4K Special character battle against orks, i had Kroak and two 2nd gen slann, i can't remember what he had, but i got a pit of shades of on his ork lord SC (don't know the name), all he had to do was not roll a 6... boy did he have a little ork rage.

 

vs O&G : Killing a Giant T1 with some help og Chameleon skinks...

Killing Giant nr 2 on Turn 2 with same 6 Cham skinks...

Killing his lvl 4 shaman with SAME 6 chams on turn 3 ... boy was that guy mad on my chameleons..

They even survived being attacked by 3 fanatics too.. Man I rolled awesome that game

vs OK...

My skinks stand& shoot vs Ogres.. killed one so no impact hits.. ogres did 1 wound.. skinks fight back doing 2 wounds.. Ogre loses with -2 ld and runs.. I pursue and ran him over with 9 skinks XD

Shooting down a keeper of secrets in turn 1.
My slann who puched a charging black of from his wyvern in combat made me roll over the floor for 5 minutes too.

My best moments were:
#1 Skink priest running circles around a wood elf tree lord, and burned him to the ground with the bane head, and lore of metal.
#2 Slingshotting a Oldblood Jsod into Grimgore Ironhide turn 1, mowing through him, and preceding to overrun into a pumpwagon, a goblin bigboss on a squig, then finally flank charging into a unit of spider rider goblins, winning combat and pursuing for another kill. My oppenent just quit right there when he saw I had killed almost 700 points in turn one.

 

One of my best (most satisfying) followed one of the worst.

Worst: Unit of 5 CoR with SV came over the hill and found a unit of 25 swordsmen for a perfect flank charge. We charged in and hit the swordsmen full in the flank! I could smell the fear/panic rising from the swordsmen. When the combat was done, not a single swordsmen was killed and 3 CoR lay dead ! Fleeing from the fight...the swordsmen run them down and destroy the remaining CoR.

Best: On my following turn 3 salamanders move up, and in retribution, flame the swordsmen for (30 hits) (22 casualties). The swordsmen fail their panic test...break and flee off of the board.

well it have been to long since i playd lizzies, so i do'n't knot any good moments with them

but i got a good one with my brets. actually 2

first:
10 skirmishing archers see a lonely slayer dwarf lord at long range in a forest.
it is the only target i can shoot at.
only 5 are in range.
i roll 3 6es. follewd by 3 5es, and wounding them all .. KILL!!!!

second:
first turn against 6th edetion vampires:
i guess myy trebuchet at a good distance to 9 knights +lord.
it scatters 2 "back on the head of the vampire.
vampire fails its look ou tsir and gets killed.

the whole army excepts his ghouls where crumbled and slaughterd by turn 4.
i only got 2 casualties made by ghouls ...he still wants revenge

 

LoL thats real funny.
But u can't kill all that in just one turn like u said... overruning into an other unit just counts as a next charge in the next combat fase.... so u would need 4 combat fases to do all that meaning in a minimum of 2-3 turns.

 

Realy? apparently I've been playing the game wrong for years. Well that ruins the oldblood slingshot for me.

 

Ahhh yes, Giants and Blowpipes.... sweet memories.... need to call my ogre playing buddy ;D

 

lol it's still usefull, you can still destroy lots of units by it, but if I were you I'ld use a scar vet that is not your general

But if you don't believe me check the BRB but I'm pretty sure that if you overrun or persue into an other enemy unit it counts as being charged in the next combat fase.. the enemy can even flee from the unit that in overrunning into them.. if I'm correct...

You don't have to tell ur friends about it.. if thats the way you guys prefer to play... as it's in your advantage but also theirs.... they should've checked the BRB too offcourse
