You always did wonder why root beer bottles have wider mouths than normal beer didn't you? Wait no..... Root is such a diverse word actually, kinda reminds me of a Monty Python sketch on a certain other word that has many many contexts. I will not mention it because that would be quite crossing the line into unacceptable territory for the forum, suffice to say it rhymes with duck. It is also perfectly acceptable for us to say a pig is rooting through the mud, and someone who is rooting around is not neccesarily having fun, in that context it often means wasting time. And of course trees have pretty big roots, but I don't think they get much excitement. The english language is a very strange thing.
I have one thing to say... ... ... ... Wait for it... ... ... ... ... ... Look over there! A distraction! ... Sorry, I felt I had to. Cheers!
Yeah English is pretty messed up with its connotations and denotations complete changing the language. "They're going over there to eat their cookies." If english was a second language I would simply scream. Thank the Old ones its not. Hehe, Root. BTW I LOVE MONTY PYTHON! "Tis but a SCRATCH!" "A Scratch? Your arms off..." "No it isn't..."
