Hey Team,

Anyone happen to know where the Axe in the following picture comes from?

I'm hoping to get my hands on a bunch for a conversion but haven't even managed to figure out where it's from. If anyone has any other examples of axes that have a lizardman feel to them I'm also all ears.

Should be an old temple guard axe... According to the creator of that model.

Hmm ya it looks like it was the temple guard champion's weapon from 5th ed.

So probably not something I'll be able to get ~20 of =/

Has anyone run into any cool axes, either on other lizardmen models, or from non lizardmen models that wouldn't feel out of place on a lizardmen mini?

You can probably get a bunch of dwarf bits for fairly cheap. Those always have a lot of extra axes. And if you get the right sprues there's a lot of cool stuff that would fit into a lizardmen army. If you want to take the time to convert of course you could make cool axes from bits like these:
