Bohemia spowning pool by Kubapj

I have long struggled with the back.

I really like working with purple. Purple color around the mouth, teeth and claws. Like poison sac under the jaw should express strong toxicity, which this monster abound. I did not know how to make a dorsal bone, I finally left the bones and skin scaly greenish-red and the membrane between the shoulder bones purple. I hope you like it.

@kubapj : that is some epic level workmanship there. The base is fantastic. The orange, purple and green on the Trog look fantastic. The orange especially really pops.

@kubapj : Also, could you tell me how you achieved that orange effect? What colours did you use and what technique(s) did you use to apply them?

It really turned out well, it is so vibrant!

Ty a lot. I1st you have to take the darkerst tone thaw you have ( depends on color what do you wanna use - green, red ac.).

Then you draw the lighter the color of the scales. Subsequently take another lighter color and finer brush do the same. Then again, take a lighter color paint smaller brush prior and repeating the processDSC_0905.jpg , until you get to the white color, which to me represents the bone.

Personally, I imagine how my monster moves around. Or how it grows. For example, my Kroxigorns have whitish scales made solely on the shoulders. It is story behind it. Kroxigorns use they shoulder to wearing massive blocks of stones and alsoare scratched from work on the pyramids. Or that it is being used to charge the enemy.
