This is like the 8th model I've assembled in over 10 years and the first time I've used Green Stuff. I'm pretty happy with him, I actually like the GW Camo Skink models, but it's gonna be a lot cheaper this way - and kinda cool!

He was relatively easy to make, I'm talentless when it comes to art / sculpting, so if I can do it, you can probably do better!

Although you can't really see it, I gave him a javelin in his off hand. I think the Skink hand weapons look particularly poor and I thought a javelin would make him look a bit more hunter/stalker like, though technically it's still a hand weapon, if anyone asks I'll say i's a "1 handed harpoon hand weapon". :P

Looks good. From that angle, it really looks almost exactly like the chameleon. Good work.

very nice work. i did the exact same thing, though i had to throw 2 regiments into shape in one weekend before a tournament, so i didnt spend as much time on them. Its an awesome way of saving money, plus im not a big fan of the froms on the current chameleons. the old oxylot(?) models is much cooler than the current metals.

Yep, that's basically what I did too and I'm very happy with the results.

His ammo belt has fallen off now, I think I'll just leave it off, seems pretty fragile.

What colour did you guys paint their weapons and jewellery? The traditional gold look seems inappropriate for a Camo Skink.

i use a very dark copper for metal and scorched brown for the wood
