"4032x3024 jpg" !!! I think I found your problem. I wouldn't go over 1600x1200. in most cases even 800x600 is more than enough.
Have tried uploading 3 diff times today on wifi and not on wifi. No dice. Gets stuck in a loading/uploading/buffering state
Well, no that wasn't the problem. I uploaded the same size all the time and it was (and now is again) working fine. Modern hardware and software can handle it. I'll still resize them in the future if it is required. To 1600x1200 or so perhaps. 800x600 no way. That would kill the details.
Not sure why some have noticed that the issue has sorted itself the last few days, as nothing has been changed before tonight. So it could have been routing issue outside of our reach that caused it in that case. Anyway, we have done some updates on the server and forum settings, and replaced the image engine. Hopefully this will help as well. If anyone who had issues in the past could give it another try and let me know. Thanks The forum should support the resolution, though for web use that is like putting makeup on a pig To view that image in its true resolution without it being zoomed in, you need a 8K monitor and there are not many that has those yet considering the price.
Thank you, Sir! And about that resolution: Yeah, I know. It is just... I am lazy I guess, it is the natural resolution of my camera and nowadays the net is so fast... The first forum I posted in allowed only 800x600 and you had to add "caution: pictures" to the thread title.
