as it loses them their damage buff, potentially spreads their line out, potentially causes the Warden to get out of range for one or more of his buffs, and even then it can cause the Warden to get too far away from the Slann to protect it, leaving your general exposed. So this Starhost does benefit from a bit of Dwarf Tactica, set up your defensive line and hammer your enemy from long range with Engines, Searing Beams, Kroak's Comet, and some Chameleons if you have them in order to force your enemy to charge your line where you'll be fighting at top level with your damage buffs. As such, we're naturally weak against Dwarfs who out-gun us at range, ranged armies such as Wood Elves, and the Slaughterpriest in particular because he can make our units break formation and run ahead. But against anyone else, particularly glass cannon armies like Beastmen or Slaanesh Daemons, we just annihilate whomever tries to take down our line.
