that makes a world of difference imo. very nice! however, you should give the head a bit more of the same highlight so it doesnt seem darker than the scales.
War paint!! I had more pictures but I don't know what happens with the USB, i always use linux to post them and for one time i use windows... Scales finished ( yeah I know, they are the same as the last picture, I only painted one side thats why ) . I had an accident with the eye and i had to repaint it again... I'm not very happy with the new result, maybe I will paint it again but without the pupil. What do you think? ( Yes, I had another accident in the golden armour of the head. Need to the fix it too ) Some questions about English, hope you can help me: -Don't know what is " imo " -I'm using " fix " constantly but i don't know for sure if its the appropriate verb in this context.
Looks good! I hate when those accident happens. Happened to me some time ago when I painted my stegadon. Leaking paint bottles that smear your thumb with green and you don't notice Anyway, regarding the english. IMO is short for In My Opnion, and I think that you've used the word fixed correctly. Haven't concerned me at all. Keep up the good work. Is there hope for any pics of the rider soon?
First I want to finish the carnosaur, but it is almost done, so yeah, there will be pics of the rider soon.
Really dig the blue eye stripes. It also looks like you painted the eyeball itself a deep gold color, what a great idea to get it to pop.
I love the eye it's great! Overall it's looking very good. The only detail I feel is somewhat lacking is the gold. It feels a little bit flat in my opinion. Other than that, this is a carnie you can be proud of.
I love this color scheme. Any chance you could give a color breakdown/process list of how you tackled it? I am a new painter, and would love to strive to replicate something like this (and i just so happen to have a carnosaur to paint...) Thanks!
