AoS Casual 1000k event

Hey guys and gals, I'm headed tomorrow to a 1k casual event. it is designed to be bringing in newer players, and they are doing learn to paint and other side events as well. I just got my dread in and am DYING to play around with him. I guess the real question is.... is this list too mean?

120 Sunblood, General, artifact: Ghyrstrike, Trait: the command point one
360 40x Warriors, Spears
100 10x Warriors, Cubs
420 Dread Saurian.

1000/1000 pts. 1 leader, 2 battle line 1 behemoth, 73 wounds, 0 +CP

I think the list looks fun. You can use it as a teaching moment to show the weakness/strengths of behemoths.

thanks. that is my intent. I was going to do a starpreist instead of the sunblood, to work in some magic, but I thought maybe the staff on the dread jaws would be too mean.

And hate you, after seeing how much the super awesome big dino costs!

I'd drop the Sunblood and bring the Starpriest and Cogs.

Someday I will own a Dread Saurian... /Sigh

SO I made the list a bit more hodge podge after seeing just how casual and new the players were going to be. (the event should have been labeled first timers galore")

Sunblood
Star priest
10 warriors clubs
10 skinks shields blowdarts
5 guard
5 knights
Dread saurian
Balewind vortex

the players responded well to the list, (and went nuts over the size of the dread!) seeing how each of the different models were used, and I went into full teacher mode, explaining every action and the reason for my decisions. the store owner ( who plays 40k but not AOS) asked me to come back and help out running events and things like that! this is great timing as my LGS had just shut down. so overall a very good weekend!
