I faced Brettonians who had a unit of questing knights and a unit of knights errant (I can't remember how many he had of either, but thats not the point of the thread), as well as a level 1 Damsel on horseback and a paladin on horseback. I had 24 Saurus warriors, an 11 skink skrox unit, a scar-vet, a skink priest, and 10 chameleon skinks.
my shooting and magic killed a few questing knights before both the questing knights and the knights of the realm charged my Saurus unit. the KoTR fled the next turn before my Saurus chopped the questing knights to bits, causing the damsel in the unit to flee, and she got away, but fled throught the chameleon skink unit, and rolled a 1 on her dangerous terrain test, and died (yess). his 6 remaining knights of the realm charged the 10 chameleon skinks, and I was happy to kill a knight, although i lost 6 chameleons. But fear not, they made insane courage! this must have given them some motivation, because the next turn, the 4 remaining chameleons killed another knight, reducing them to 4 left, but those humans and their horses couldn't touch me. I won the combat by 1, and he lost his break test by 1. he fleed (with swiftstride) and I pursued. I matched his flee roll and cut the knights down with CHAMELEON SKINKS, which eliminated his last models from the table. I just wanted to share this moment with the forums. furthermore, the chameleons i used were proxied skinks... maybe I'm getting hints that I should buy the real models...
