Blog Chicken Lips Warhammer Armies

Great work as always. How are you completing these guys so quickly yet finishing them to such a high standard?

Lol, I keep a lot of figures in my "queue" that I paint a little along on here and there. That way, it keeps a lot of models turning over.

Speaking of which, I also started on this Screaming Bell over the weekend. I wanted to take an updated army pic and once I got them all out, I really felt the need to get some color on some of them. My main focus was on the Bell, but I also worked a little on some other character models for them as well. Not too far from being done with the Bell though. I made a lot of progress over this past weekend! I needed to because this upcoming Saturday will be my quads birthday party, so I'll be covered up in relatives and activities! Not much room for hobby painting. :(

You kiddin' me?!? You see all those unpainted models up there?!?

Nah, really I'm about 2/3s way through all my models. I've got enough hobby to last me several more years. By the time I'm done painting all of them, my kids will be getting old enough to start playing me! And having quads means we'll be having some great in-house tournaments!

As for buying models, all the time, man. I'm constantly looking for deals off eBay.

Your sick, you need help :D

I'll start paying homage to the Reaper when Bones 4 comes out!

I just think that largely GW produces the best minis. Plus any minis I would consider from another company have to fit seamlessly into the framework of 8th edition Warhammer.

Which companies are on par with GW in terms of miniature quality?
Mantic are getting up there. Fire forge Is there. Momminiaturas. There was a company that does mountain orcs who's name I can't remember
