Sorry I haven't been very active of late, but with good reason! The first of my quadruplets came home from the NICU! She is doing great! We have been having a lot of "firsts" this week. I am totally in love!

She loves cuddling with her mommy.

The brothers look good together. Thunk is my favorite of the two, but they are both fantastic. "Run for your life wee human!"

Well, I've started my next project! This one will take me quite a while. The model is huge! I'm going to try and actually make this one look like ice though! I'll attempt to use some of the methods suggested earlier in this thread.

Nice, I've finished my sons Ogres and although we went for a fast method they look really good, can't wait to see the stornhorn done.
 
So I made a lot of progress on Paul, Bunyan, and Blue this weekend! I still need to finish the base and accessories, but I'm workin' on those.

I tried to get that whole "ice effect" down somewhat. Let me know what you think!
 
Looks really good, but and this is only my view, I think he needs to be whiter on his back mostly behind the saddle going down to his bum, could you do more drybrushing or edge him in white?

He looks great so don't worry about my view if you don't want to do more ;)

@Crowsfoot: I'm a little afraid to do that because when I put too much white on my "Ice" Salamander, it came across too "snowy". I don't want that on this guy. Besides, it's for a friend of mine, and I really just want to do a good job and get back to my stuff. ;)

@NIGHTBRINGER: I was wondering if anyone would catch that. :D

Well, it's kinda like Mork and Gork...it really doesn't matter. ;)

I know he's got a brother and sister, Peter and Mary, that I haven't done. :D

@NIGHTBRINGER: Thanks, man! I really wanted him to have a centerpiece that he could be proud of (not that he's a bad painter himself at all) and something that could dump fuel on the fire.

The rider with the crossbow we have used as a Man eater and put him on foot, doing 2 more tonight 1 with the vulture and I'm going to try and use the back of the saddle as a banner for another with the chain and man trap.

I will post pics in my thread so you can see my sons army.
 
Sounds good! I've got plans to use the other Stonehorn head part (the one with the big horns) as part of a BSB banner. He doesn't really have a good one that really stands out from the rest. I'm also going to use some of the parts to make him a Hunter.

Cool, loads of spare bits in that pack, think I may try for a BSB out of it as well, good idea ;)
 
Thanks everybody!

I've actually started on my next project, a Balistadon with the Arc of Sotek! I've been anxiously wanting to start on this guy as well as two Jungle Swarms. My idea is to let both Bassys anchor either flank of a large Saurus Warrior block and let the Jungle Swarms just grow and grow as well as provide the Warriors with some posion attacks!

So I thought I'd ask you guys for some help in deciding what colors to paint my AoS Bassy (See what I did there? ;)). You can see the colors for my other one at the beginning of this thread, but they are basically a green shell and tan underbelly. I'd like to be different from that, and I like really bright colors. Help me out, guys!
 
you should Google up some turtle pictures and find a color scheme you like. ;)
 
I did. And I have something in mind, but I just wanted to see if there were any other ideas that I really liked out there before I started. :)
